Kindergarten Registration for the 2026-2027 School Year 

Please review and complete all four steps below to ensure your child is fully enrolled. If you are applying for inter-district open enrollment, please wait until you receive a decision on your application before completing the steps below.

To prepare for the year ahead, parents can review the Kindergarten Info Night Presentation. This was presented during our in-person event on April 21, 2026 and it is a great resource to help you feel confident and informed as your child begins their kindergarten journey. 

Step 1: Is my child eligible for kindergarten?

• A child is eligible to enter kindergarten if they turn five (5) years old on or before August 25, 2026.

Step 2: Complete the FinalForms registration.

• If you are new to the Stow-Munroe Falls City School District, begin kindergarten registration HERE to create a FinalForms  account. You must have a FinalForms account to register.
• If you already have a child in our district, it is likely that you have an existing Final Forms account. Click HERE to log in and begin kindergarten registration. If you have forgotten your password, use the "Forgot Password" link and follow instructions to retrieve/reset it.
• Once you are registered and signed into Final Forms, complete and sign all the forms (in the form set to the left).
• Please use the Final Forms guide for technical support within Final Forms. 

Step 3: Schedule an in-person appointment, bring the required documents, and pick up your welcome packet. This step is required to complete your child's registration.

• Schedule your registration appointment 
• Bring the following required documents to your appointment:

  • Birth Certificate / Passport 

  • Immunization Records

  • Proof of Residency with parent/ Guardian name and address. (Need 1 of the following items) Current Utility Bill (gas, electric, water, trash, cable) Current mortgage statement or rental agreement, or Current pay stub

  • Custody Paperwork (if applicable)

  • Special Education Services Documentation (if applicable) provide child’s ETR & IEP (must have both)

Step 4: Review resources to prepare for kindergarten.

• Review Kindergarten readiness activities in your folder from your registration appointment, as well as here:

• Kindergarten Screening- Look for information to be emailed to you starting July 27, 2026

• After enrolling your child, parents are encouraged to attend Kindergarten information night at their child's school.

 This option is available for Stow-Munroe Falls residents who wish to have their student(s) attend a different elementary school within the district rather than their assigned home school. 

Please complete the Intra-District Open Enrollment Application.

The Intra-District Open Enrollment window for the 2026-2027 school year is now through April 30, 2026. Families with questions should contact the district office for more information. 

Under Ohio Revised Code Section 3321.042, families in Ohio who choose to educate their children at home are required to submit an annual notification to their local school district superintendent.

The Bulldog Online Academy (BOA) is Stow-Munroe Falls City Schools' virtual learning option, designed to provide families with a high-quality educational experience while staying connected to a trusted public school district. 

Families interested in learning more about the Bulldog Online Academy (BOA) can click here. BOA welcomes students from within the Stow-Munroe Falls City School District and from outside the district through the Inter-District Open Enrollment program (see link above). 

All students must be officially enrolled in the Stow-Munroe Falls City School District to participate in this program.
