Password changes are now synced accrossed multiple platforms. If you'd like to change your password, please follow the instructions below. 

New User/Reset Password:

1. Use a district computer or navigate to http://selfservice.neonet.org
2. Login using your username and temporary password.
   1. Username: ST_(FirstIntial)(LastName) - ST_JDoe
   2. Password: Temporary password received from supervisor
3. Follow the prompts to change your password. 

 

Password Changes:

1. Navigate to http://selfservice.neonet.org
2. Login using your DASL credentials. 
   1. Username: ST_(FirstIntial)(LastName)
   2. Password: Same as DASL
3. If you haven't done so already, you'll need to enroll in Self-Service before being able to change your password. (See Below)
4. Select "Change Password" on the top tabs.
5. Enter your "Old Password", followed by your "New Password" twice. 
6. Select "Change Password".

 

Self-Service Enrollment:

Password self-service: Reset your password yourself if you forget it! Don't wait for the helpdesk!
Self-service Account Unlock: Unlock the computer, when you are locked out of it.
Password Synchronization: One password synchronized accrossed all district platforms! 

1. Navigate to http://selfservice.neonet.org
2. Login using your DASL credentials. 
   1. Username: ST_(FirstIntial)(LastName)
   2. Password: Same as DASL
3. Select "Click Here".
4. Fill out the security questions or select "Google Authenticator" at the top to use Google Authenticator.
5. Select "Enroll".

 

Self-Service Reset Password (Forgot):

1. Navigate to http://selfservice.neonet.org or select "Reset Password / Unlock Account" on any district PC login screen.
2. Select "Reset Password". 
3. Enter your Username, then select "Continue".
4. Answer the seucrity questions or enter the code from Google Authenticator, then fill out the captcha. Select "Continue".
   1. If you have both questions and Google Authenticator setup, you may choose which one you'd like to use to reset your password. 
5. Enter your new password twice, then fill out the captcha. Select "Continue".

HOW DO I JOIN THE WIRELESS NETWORK?

SMFSchools Wireless Network Access

Avaliable At All Campus Locations

SSID: ST-Login

Staff: DASL/Active Directory Username & Password

Students: Google Username & Password

 

• Accept the security certificate if prompted.
• If you are unable to connect, remove the ST-Login SSID and reconnect. You may have to do this upto three times before the connection is accepted. 
• The use of personal hotspots is prohibited in our Acceptable Use Policy and all buildings are monitored.

Android & Personal Chromebooks

The following information may be required when connecting an Android and/or Personal Chromebook Device. 

• EAP Method: PEAP
• CA certificate: Do Not Validate
• Identity: Username
• Password: Password
• Anonymous Identity: Leave Blank

Stow-Munroe Falls City School District

The Stow-Munroe Falls City School District considers the privacy, safety, and security of our students and staff to be one of our most important responsibilities. Keeping children safe while online includes protecting their personal information. SMFCSD reviews online apps and digital resources to ensure they are appropriate for instruction, compliant with federal student privacy laws, and include measures to safeguard personally identifiable information.

Online Resource Review Process

Any online tool used with students that enables the creation of student accounts or collects student information is required to go through the SMFCSD Technology Committee.

This process includes a detailed review of each company’s data privacy policies to ensure compliance with student privacy laws and to protect both students and staff from having their personally identifiable information used inappropriately.

As part of our process, Student Data Privacy Agreements (SDPAs) are pursued with all approved vendors as a condition of use.

General Monitoring of School-Issued Devices

Please be aware that the District, either directly or through a trusted technology provider, monitors all school-issued devices in accordance with Ohio law (R.C. 3319.325).

Monitoring may include:

• Keystrokes
• Web browsing activity
• Interactions with school-issued platforms

Monitoring is conducted for the noncommercial, educational purposes of:

• Instruction
• Technical support
• Exam proctoring
• Threat prevention and/or response related to life or safety
