SUBSTITUTE TEACHING
Substitute teachers are a vital part of the education of children. Whenever the regular teacher is unable to be in the classroom, a qualified substitute is needed to ensure that the educational process continues without interruption.
For a Substitute Teaching License, please go to www.ode.state.oh.us and click on the Teachers Tab. All license applications are now online. The same online application is used for teaching license and sub license. Please follow the instructions and if you have any questions, please call.
SUBSTITUTE ASSIGNMENTS
Some substitute teachers are needed almost every day that school is in session; however, every substitute may not be called to work every day. Assignments are usually one or two days in length; however, sometimes substitutes are needed on a long-term basis.

ANTI-HARASSMENT POLICY
It is the policy of the Board of Education to maintain an education and work environment that is free from all forms of unlawful harassment. This commitment applies to all School District operations, programs, and activities. All students, administrators, teachers, staff, and all other school personnel share responsibility for avoiding, discouraging, and reporting any form of unlawful harassment. This policy applies to unlawful conduct occurring on school property, or at another location if such conduct occurs during an activity sponsored by the Board.
The Board designates the following individuals to serve as "Anti-Harassment Compliance Officers" for the District:
Mike Kostyack, Director of Human Resources
Angie Farneth, Lakeview Intermediate School Assistant Principal
Steve Deitrick, Kimpton Middle School Assistant Principal
The Compliance Officers will be available during regular school/work hours to discuss concerns related to unlawful harassment, to assist students, other members of the District community, and third parties who seek support or advice when informing another individual about "unwelcome" conduct, or to intercede informally on behalf of the individual in those instances where concerns have not resulted in the filing of a formal complaint and where all parties are in agreement to participate in an informal process.
