Title IX & Anti-Harassment Policy

The Board of Education is committed to maintaining an educational and work environment that is free from all forms of unlawful harassment and discrimination. This commitment applies to all district operations, programs, and activities.

All students, administrators, teachers, staff, and other school personnel share responsibility for preventing, discouraging, and reporting unlawful harassment. This policy applies to conduct occurring on school property and at any location where district-sponsored programs or activities take place.

In accordance with Title IX and Board policy, the District does not discriminate on the basis of sex in its educational programs or activities. This prohibition extends to admissions and employment.

The Compliance Officers are available during regular school and work hours to:

Receive reports of unlawful harassment or discrimination
Provide information regarding District policies and procedures
Explain formal and informal resolution options
Assist individuals in filing a formal complaint
Facilitate informal resolution processes, where appropriate and when all parties voluntarily agree

The District will respond promptly and equitably to all reports of discrimination or harassment.

Reporting Harassment

Any individual who believes they have experienced or witnessed harassment or discrimination is encouraged to report the concern promptly.

Reports may be made to:

A supervisor or building administrator
The Human Resources Department

Complete the Harassment Report Form (Google Form)

The District prohibits retaliation against any individual who makes a good faith report or participates in an investigation. We will investigate all reports in accordance with applicable federal guidelines and Board policy.

Title IX Training Documents

In compliance with federal regulations, the District makes available training materials used to train Title IX Coordinators, investigators, decision-makers, and any person who facilitates an informal resolution process.
