Subcommittee Action Plans:
The Posture of Listening Luncheon was held last summer to discuss the injustices in our country. Stow-Munroe Falls Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee was formed within SMF schools. With the formation of the city of Stow’s Diversity Equity and Inclusion initiative we recognized that this work is more aligned to the community. As such Stow-Munroe Falls Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee will focus its efforts on students and staff within the schools. Moving forward the city of Stow’s Diversity Equity and Inclusion initiative has absorbed SMF school’s DEI Community subcommittee, and they will operate as one entity. Both groups are looking forward to continued collaboration.
