Lakeview Intermediate School

The PTA Book Fair is up and running.  Students will shop during their library check out times and parents may visit the fair any time during the day.

I would like to congratulate all the students, staff, and volunteers involved with last week's Right to Read Activities and this year's musical, Beauty and The Beast.  Another well done job!

Congratulations to Mr. Cox who was selected as Brandywine's Ski Club Advisor of the Year. Mr. Cox has served as our Ski Club and Snow Boarding advisor for  eight (8) years and was recognized for: his attention to the details, his pre-skiing orientation, his care and consideration shown to the students, and for the appropriate behavior of our students.  Congratulations Mr. Cox!

Breakfast is now available at Lakeview.  Students may purchase a breakfast kit (ceral, milk, fruit) each morning after they get off the bus.  The cost is $1.40.  Families who participate in the federal government's Lunch program may get the breakfast for 40 cents (reduced price) or free.  Families may apply for Free/Reduced Lunches at any time of the year.

If you have any pictures that you would like to share with the PTA Yearbook chairs, please contact Rae Schneider (rae_schneider@att.net) or Cristie Praeter (cristie@praeters.com).  They are looking for pictures from Turkey Trot, Fall Party, Academic Breakfast, November's Outdoor Education, Winter Concerts, and 2009 Field Day).
