Early Dismissal
SMFCSD will dismiss students two hours early on October 28, 2011 and March 30, 2012. Lakeview students will start their lunch periods 30 minutes early. The students will have shortened periods of art, music, or physical education on these two days. The students will be dismissed at 12:45 and the buses will run their regular routes. Students should be home two hours early on these two days. Please ensure that the boys and girls are aware of any changes in transportation before they come to school on these two days.
Two-Hour Delay
SMFSCD has been planning for the possibility of starting school on a Two-Hour Delay. All families will receive a call from the district's AlertNow system when the superintendent decides to initiate a two hour delayed start. This delay will be for all SMFCSD schools. Morning band, choir, and orchestra will start at 9:30. Lakeview students will be allowed into the building at 9:50 and the tardy bell will ring at 10:15. Again, students will have shortened art, music, or physical education periods. Lunches will be served at their regular time and dismissal will still begin at 2:45.
