Mr. Saxer is beginning his second year as principal of Kimpton Middle School. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Kent State University in Secondary Education: Comprehensive Soclal Studies and a Minor in School Health Education. Before coming to Stow-Munroe Falls City Schools, Mr. Saxer was an Individual Small Group Tutor at Hudson High School. He then went back to Kent State University and obtained his elementary teaching certification and taught 5th Grade and then 7th Grade World History in the Nordonia Hills City Schools. While there he obtained his Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, as well as his M.Ed. in K-12 School Administration from Kent State University. Mr. Saxer then began his administrative career in the Stow-Munroe Falls City Schools as the assistant principal at Lakeview Intermediate. After a little more than a year there, he became the principal at Fishcreek Elementary. Mr. Saxer was at Fishcreek Elementary for 5 years, before moving to Kimpton Middle School. In addition to his career in education, Mr. Saxer also enjoyed a short career (2 years) in law enforcement, as a Deputy Sheriff for the Summit County Sheriff's Office. Mr. Saxer and his wife, Lisa have two beautful daughters, Dallas and Hudson. Thanks to their daughters, who want to be veterinarians, their famly also includes 2 rag doll cats (Sugar and Spike), a bearded dragon (Lenny), a corn snake (Ophidian), and 5 hampsters (Joe, Nick, Kevin, Carly, and Daisy).
