KIMPTON PARENTS:  VERY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!

The Booster Club is hosting their annual golf outing Friday, June 14th. 

Why is this so important especially to Kimpton?  Kimpton will greatly benefit from this event - we will receive a majority of the money that is raised from this event. 

Please put together a four-some, sponsor a hole or sign up as individual.  You will have a great time but also benefit our kids!

Please note: Admission for all Kimpton Sports - $2 for adults, $1 for students.

Medical Physicals: Students must have a sports physical on file before they can tryout or participate in any sport per OHSAA rules. Physical forms may be obtained from the main office or your coach.

Eligibility Requirements: According to the bylaws of the Ohio High School Athletic Association, a student enrolling in seventh grade for the first time will be eligible for the first grading period regardless of previous academic achievement. Thereafter, the student must have a 1.500 grade point average and receive no more than one failing grade for a class the preceding grading period per The Stow-Munroe Falls Board of Education Policy.

Booster Club:  PARENTS:  The Booster Club needs members!  The Boosters are VITAL to our sports programs.  Please consider becoming a member.  Read the following taken directly from their website:

Mission Statement: The Stow-Munroe Falls Booster Club supports all the student- athletes of Stow-Munroe Falls High School by providing enthusiasm and attendance at their activities, providing equipment and facilities as needed, and financially through awards and scholarships.

Best for Stow:  Benefitting Everyone With Stadium Turf

A non-profit organization has been formed to operate a two year campaign to raise funds that will go toward the resurfacing of the Stow Munroe Falls Stadium Field and Track.

BEST For Stow Inc. is a non-profit organization and is not affiliated with any other school or civic organization. This is a single mission driven organization set in place to spearhead this project for the benefit of the Community.

Fall Sports

There will be a Fall Sports Meeting for any one interested in participating in Cheerleading, Football, Cross-Country and Volleyball.  Monday, July 29th in the Kimpton Auditorium at 6pm.  This is an informational meeting.

Football Conditioning can begin on August 5th.  Times are yet to be determined.

Volleyball Tryouts will occurs the week of August 5th.  Times are yet to be determined.

Cross-Country practices officially begin on August 12th.  Times are yet to be determined.

Cheerleading tryouts occur during the Spring.

• Coaches Meeting: There will be a short coaches meeting at 8:15 A.M. in the North Field House (near the starting line) to pick up the program with lane assignments and field event flights.

• Places: The top eight in each event will place with awards.

• Admission: $4.00 – Adults, $2.00 – Students. Concessions will be available.

There are REQUIRED FORMS in order to participate in athletics at Kimpton.  They must be completed prior to the first practice.  Click on the REQUIRED FORMS link, download them, print them and turn them in to the coach. 

All athletes must have a physical from a physician prior to the first day of practice.
