You can recycle paper at our campus seven days a week. We earn money for paper dropped off in our green and yellow Abitibi Paper Retriever bins. This is an easy way for you to recycle your paper products every week and to help us raise money for our playgrounds, landscaping, books and student activities. Acceptable paper products include: newspapers, magazines, mail/envelopes and copy paper. Please remember to bring your paper and drop it in the Abitibi Paper Retriever bin. These three bins are free to use!

  • Our school colors are blue and white.
  • Fishcreek offers the YMCA before and after school childcare program.
  • Our school has a covered pavilion with picnic tables near the playground for students and teachers to enjoy during recess and for special activities.
  • Each spring our Fishcreek PTA sponsors the Raccoon Run. It is a 5K run and 1 mile fun walk/run for participants. This is our only PTA fundraiser of the school year.

  • In cooperation with Kent State University and RCET (Research Center for Educational Technology), several of our classrooms have had the opportunity to learn in the AT&T technology classroom. For 6 weeks, students spend half a day learning their grade level content and curriculum with technology integration. We have also been fortunate to receive technology grants through this partnership.
