Bryan Celik Named Varsity Baseball Coach

 

STOW, OHIO—January 23, 2012—The Stow-Munroe Falls City School District is pleased to announce Bryan Celik will join the Stow-Munroe Falls High School (SMFHS) athletic department as head coach for the boys varsity baseball team, upon board approval, January 24.
 

Prior to joining SMFHS, Celik held a variety of coaching responsibilities at Akron Firestone High School. He served as pitching coach and freshman team coach.
 

“I’m very pleased to welcome Mr. Celik to our staff,” said Dr. Russ Jones. “As a college athlete and recipient of the Lisle Buckingham Academic Scholarship and Honors Scholarship, Bryan brings first-hand experience as a successful athlete and coach with a focus on academics. I look forward to his leadership of our baseball team and of our student athletes.”
 

Celik is also a construction manager and is employed by H.R. Gray as an engineer. A graduate of The University of Akron, cum laude, Celik holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. As an undergraduate, he was a four-year letterman in baseball. He is also licensed in pupil activity and is CPR certified. He resides in Broadview Heights with his wife Jennie and son Owen.
 

The Stow-Munroe Falls City School District is rated Excellent by the Ohio Department of Education, an honor held by 267 school districts out of 613 statewide.
