Neelam Bhatia

Mrs. Bhatia has been awarded a grant for the ILEP (International Leaders in Education Program), a U.S. State Department program implemented by IREX (International Research and Exchanges Board).  Mrs. Bhatia will be traveling to a host school in Serpong, Indonesia in March, 2010 for two weeks where she will co-teach and share teaching practices.


National Board Certification Awarded to Wendy Paul and Jill Merz

National Board Certification is the highest credential in the teaching profession. A voluntary process established by the The National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS), certification is achieved through a rigorous, performance-based assessment that typically takes more than a year to complete.

Teachers who earn this advanced teaching credential are among the best qualified in the nation to improve instruction, raise student achievement and improve teaching practices in their classrooms, schools and districts.


Jana Martin

Jana Martin has been published in the OAHPERD journal Future Focus, and is deserving high accolades!! The article is featured in the "Best Practices" section on pages 10 and 11. The title is "Explodemic Explosion with Field Day Jubilation."
