Purpose Statement
of the
Stow-Munroe Falls Orchestra Parents Association
The purpose of the Stow-Munroe Falls Orchestra Parents Association is to assist the director of the Stow-Munroe Falls Schools orchestras in development of an educationally-sound school orchestra program of the highest quality.
In pursuit of this goal, the Association will:
provide financial assistance to: purchase and maintain equipment for the school; help students who would otherwise not be able to participate in the orchestra program; and award scholarships to motivate students to continue their musical education beyond high school
promote the interest of both current and prospective students in the orchestra program
promote community interest in the orchestras
enable communication between orchestra teachers, students, parents and school administration
accept charitable donations on behalf of the Stow-Munroe Falls Orchestras.
OPA meetings are held the 3rd Wednesday of each month in the High School Music Room. Meetings begin at 7:00p.m. All 5th-12h grade parents are welcomed to attend these meetings.
